Strawberry & White Chocolate Tiramisu Recipe

Strawberry & White Chocolate Tiramisudessert

Ingredients

  • 1.5 packs of ladyfinger biscuits

  • 300 g strawberries

  • 1.5 tea glasses granulated sugar

  • 1.5 cups water

  • For the cream: 1 liter milk, 5 tablespoons flour, 1 egg yolk, 1.5 tea glasses granulated sugar, 250 g mascarpone cheese, 1 packet vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract), 100 g white chocolate (I used couverture)

  • For topping: 10 strawberries, 80 g grated white chocolate, Optional: shredded coconut

Prepare the strawberry syrup: Chop the strawberries. In a small saucepan, combine strawberries, water, and sugar. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Then blend the mixture using an immersion blender until smooth.

Make the cream: In a separate pot, combine milk, egg yolk, sugar, and flour. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla sugar and white chocolate. Stir until the chocolate melts completely.

Transfer the cream into a bowl. Once it slightly cools down, add the mascarpone cheese and mix well.

Dip the ladyfinger biscuits into the warm strawberry syrup and arrange them in your serving dish. Lightly drizzle a bit more strawberry syrup over the biscuits using a spoon.

Spread half of the cream over the biscuits. Repeat with another layer of syrup-dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining cream.

Let it chill in the refrigerator for 5–6 hours.

Before serving, garnish with sliced strawberries and grated white chocolate. I also generously sprinkled shredded coconut on top (optional).
