Kadayif Dessert with Custard
Ingredients
300 grams of wire kadayif
100 grams of butter
5 tablespoons of sugar
1 cup coarsely ground walnuts
1 liter milk
4 tablespoons of flour
1 glass of sugar
3 tablespoons of starch
1 egg yolk
200 ml liquid cream
1 pack of vanilla
Instructions
Let's leave the kadayif in the freezer for an hour to break it easily, then let's break it into a bowl with our hands. Let's melt the butter in the pan, add the sugar and the crumbled kadaifs and fry it.
When the kadaifs turn color, add the walnuts and continue roasting. Let's take the roasted kadayıf from the stove and let it cool.
For the pudding, let's add milk, flour, sugar, starch and egg yolk to a saucepan and cook it by whisking until it thickens.
After boiling, let's take it from the stove and wait for the first heat to come out, add the cream and vanilla on it and beat it with the help of a mixer for 3-4 minutes.
You can serve the cooled pudding by putting kadayif on the bottom of the bowls and putting kadayif on top of it.
