Apple-pie
Ingredients
For the dough: 125 g butter/margarine, 1 egg, Half a glass of granulated sugar, Half a pack of baking powder, 2.5-3 glasses of flour
For the mortar: 5 apples, 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1.5 teaspoons of cinnamon, Optional walnut pieces
Instructions
First, peel and grate the apples. Take the apples and sugar in the pan and cook until the water is absorbed. After turning off the heat, we add the cinnamon and leave it to cool.
First, we melt the butter at room temperature with sugar and eggs. Then we add the other ingredients for the dough and knead the dough. We rest for 15 minutes.
We divide the dough in half. We lubricate our small sized pyrex with oil. We spread some of the dough on the bottom of our pyrex with our hands. It should be dish shaped.
We add all our apple mortar on the base. We open the rest of the dough on the counter and cut thin thin strips and place them on our apple tart as in the images.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve with powdered sugar on top.
